What I’m Listening to: Modern Day Cain by I Don’t Know How But They Found Me
It’s Valentine’s Day! Okay, yes, technically it’s not anymore, but it was when I started writing this post soo what’s really more historically accurate if you think about it?? Anyway, if you follow my blog you know I love themed clothing for holidays and 2018 Valentine’s was no different. This ensemble is pants + button up + a CAPE. All the same pattern. Which is sky blue and covered in flowers and cherubs (with green piping on the pants). Sometimes I look at clothes and I’m just like “me” and this was definitely one of those occasions. I completed the look with basic makeup (hey you gotta let the cape speak for itself) and platform slip on tennis shoes with bows. (P.S. I got my hair cut)

Happy Valentine’s Day! Someone once told me you shouldn’t wear themed clothing for holidays, but as anyone who’s read my blog before knows, I clearly didn’t listen to them. It’s Valentine’s Day, so I’m wearing pink, red, bows, ruffles, sequins, and flounces, all in one fluffy frock (this dress legit has it all). Of course, I can’t totally abandon my grunge roots, so I accessorized with my Dr. Marten’s Mary Janes.
Peace (and PSAs against those candy hearts),

Valentine’s Day is almost here and you know what that means. If you guessed the price of chocolate chips goes up 23 cents then you win a free box of chalky candy hearts. I personally want to know who is gifting their S.O. with chocolate chips. I can’t envision a scenario with that ending well. Even if you’re making them into cookies it’s still weird. Buy them something normal like those terrifying bears that sing 70’s songs while they “dance”, their dead eyes staring into your soul.
Anyways. I love all holidays, but I have a special place in my heart for Valentine’s Day.
Good Advice! 😉
